Arwynn turns 8! Summer games our house flooded

Dads friend George traded him some stuff if dad would take Harry.  He was a good dog but too sneaky...grandpa came and fell in love with him, so he took him 

I took the girls down to the dentist for some appointments.  Syrus calls me in a panic because our yard is flooding and there is water coming in the downstairs living room window.  I told them I was hurrying home, but he needed to do something to slow it down.  He and matteo went outside and dug holes all over the yard...funny boys, but it did slow it down. 

Alyssa came over and helped fill buckets of water to bring to the road and dump out. 

After a few hours of us digging our yard out and trying to pile dirt up etc...greg came out with a pump and started pumping out our window. 

 we hauled loads of dirt up to the windows so we could keep the water from going in.

 When we were about done working, the hole the boys had started digging in the back yard to soak up water had gotten really big...so they ended up playing in it all afternoon.

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit.  Grandpa spent a lot of time making a garbage can for us...Sariah decided to help out and give it a little paint job

Summer games...Jerusha and Syrus metaled quite a bit 

Grandma Nohr came down with us, and she made the boys these cute candy boquets...and got jam some flowers

Jerushas one mile swim...she did awesome, so cool.  Kevin kept telling her to switch strokes and she kept shaking her head no.

Arwynn turns 8!  She gets lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa here for her birthday

Arwynn wanted a webkinz birthday party!  so fun, Jerushas friends came and managed a little store for them.  Syrus and Tav and dad ran games outside.  They had so much fun!
