Woody came home from Kosovo.

So to this day Jerusha looks back at all these pictures and wonders why she always had two buns in her hair.  I keep reminding her that she has always been very independent  and she has only let me fix her hair the way she wanted it fixed....

Mommy and Arwynn.  I am wearing my very favorite necklace here.  Woody sent it to me from kosovo.  But now after 10 years of wearing it faithfully it is lost.  so sad.

Syrus waiting for dad.  Syrus actually wouldn't even speak to dad when he got home.  I think he was still holding a grudge against dad for leaving.

Believe it or not Jerusha used to BEG me to get her fake nails.  She went to a party right before dad came home and she won fake nails, so she saved them and wore them.  So pretty...hair sticking out of the edges and all.

Arwynn waiting patiently

Our welcome home sign

This was the longest wait ever.  The kids eventually got tired of waiting, and sometime after that is when daddy showed up.  In the slowest moving convoy you have ever seen!

Tavish couldn't wait for daddy.  And as soon as we started driving he had to go potty.  He would only let dad take him.  As soon as he got him out in the woods tavish said he didn't have to pee.  It was pretty funny.

Arwynn enjoying some chocolate no doubt.

we had a long drive home after picking daddy up
